The quiet weeks are the whole point

HVAC demand arrives in two spikes and disappears in between. The shoulder seasons are when technicians are underused and fixed costs carry on regardless, which is exactly when a tune-up campaign earns its keep.

It also moves work out of the peak. A system checked in April is one less emergency call in July, when you have no capacity anyway and every call is somebody else's crisis.

Selling this without fear

The easy angle is fear — breakdowns, carbon monoxide, the hottest day of the year. This generator will not write that, and refuses if asked.

It is bad selling as well as bad practice. Fear-based marketing from a contractor reads as untrustworthy, and any specific safety claim you make in an email is one you have to stand behind. The honest angles work better anyway: beat the rush, get a known price, have somebody look before you need them urgently.

What marketing email legally requires

These are requirements rather than best practice — CAN-SPAM in the US, and stricter rules elsewhere. The generator includes the unsubscribe and address in what it produces, but you have to actually make the unsubscribe work.

It will also not claim a tune-up prevents failure or extends equipment life by a stated number of years. Those are the kinds of claims that need evidence behind them.
